Clean Eating- May 2008

When It comes to breakfast meals convenience is the dealbreaker.
The need for speed may explain the long line-ups in Tim Hortons
drive throughs where ever you go. Unfortunately donuts and coffee
are not the ideal foods to consume when weight loss is the primary goal.
 

The recipe I am about to share with is easy to prepare, ideal for fat loss
and should get you out the door in time to make it to the office.

 

Protein Pancakes
 

 

Ingredients
-    2 large free range eggs
-    1 cup organic cream
-    1 Scoop  whey protein powder
-    1 table spoon cinnamon
-    1 tablespoon vanilla
-    Olive oil cooking spray or coconut oil
-    Prep Time – 10 minutes
-    Servings – 1

In a small bowl mix eggs, cream and Prolean powder, add vanilla and cinnamon to mixture, stir until it’s smooth Heat Griddle or pan and spray surface evenly with olive oil cooking spray. With a ladle or spoon, scoop ¼ cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until golden brown on both sides. Top with organic honey, cottage cheese and berries and serve.
